NBI Clearance Renewal Online 2026

NBI Clearance is valid for one year from the date it is issued, so you’ll need to renew it once it expires.
If you’re renewing an old or expiring clearance, you can complete the process online.  For residents of NCR,
the renewed clearance can even be delivered straight to your doorstep.

NBI Clearance Renewal

1. Door-to-Door Online Renewal

You can avail door-to-door delivery only if your NBI Clearance was issued or has expired from October 16, 2016 onwards.
This option (NBI Clearance online renewal) allows you to renew online and have the document delivered to your home.

2. Regular Online Renewal (With Branch Pickup)

If you have an NBI Clearance issued from 2014 up to the present, you can still renew online, but you need to register and choose a branch for pickup.
This option does not include door-to-door delivery.

Choose the NBI Clearance renewal method that matches your NBI issuance year and your situation.

NBI Clearance Renewal Requirements (2026)

Renewing your NBI clearance is a straightforward process, but you must prepare the necessary
documents and information to avoid delays. Here’s what you need:

1. Old NBI Clearance

  • Original copy of your previous NBI clearance is required for quick renewal.
  • If lost, you need to apply as a new applicant and bring valid IDs for verification.

2. Valid Government-Issued IDs

Bring at least one valid ID. Some offices may require two IDs. Acceptable IDs include:

  • Passport
  • Driver’s License
  • Postal ID
  • SSS/GSIS ID
  • PRC License
  • UMID
  • Voter’s ID

Make sure your IDs are current and not expired.

Frequently Asked Questions

The standard NBI clearance renewal fee is ₱130, plus an e-payment/service fee of around ₱25, making the total approximately ₱155.

If you choose Quick Renewal with door-to-door delivery, the total cost is higher, usually around ₱330–₱355, depending on your location.

There are two methods to renew your NBI clearance, depending on the date it was issued:

  1. Door-to-Door Renewal: For NBI clearances issued from 2016 onward, you can use the door-to-door delivery option and receive your renewed clearance at home.
  2. Office Visit Renewal (Registration Method): For NBI clearances issued from 2014 up to the present, you need to register online and then visit the NBI office for verification and processing.

Door-to-door NBI clearance renewal delivery usually takes around 3 to 7 working days, depending on your location and courier processing time.

If you choose pick-up (no door-to-door delivery), you can get your NBI clearance on the same day of your appointment—usually within 10 to 30 minutes, as long as there is no hit or verification issue.

No. If you choose door-to-door delivery, you don’t need to go to the NBI office.
Your NBI clearance will be processed and delivered directly to your address, as long as your information is correct and there is no “hit” or verification issue.

Yes, rescheduling an NBI appointment is possible — but it depends on whether you have already paid.

1. If you have NOT paid yet

Yes, you can freely reschedule.
Unpaid appointments automatically expire, and you can simply create a new appointment with your preferred date and branch.

2. If you have ALREADY paid

Rescheduling is limited.
The NBI system usually does not allow changing the schedule once payment is completed. Your payment is non-refundable. However, some users are still able to change to a new date if the option appears in their online dashboard before the appointment date.

If the portal does not show a “reschedule” option, you will need to:

  • Visit the same NBI branch on your chosen date, or
  • Contact the branch/NBI helpdesk and request assistance (case-to-case basis).

3. If you miss your paid appointment

If you do not appear on the scheduled date, you normally need to book and pay again, unless the branch gives you a grace option (not guaranteed).

For door-to-door delivery (Quick Renewal), the delivery fee usually depends on your location:

  • Metro Manila: around ₱200 – ₱250
  • Luzon: around ₱230 – ₱260
  • Visayas: around ₱240 – ₱280
  • Mindanao: around ₱240 – ₱300

Delivery partners may have slightly different rates, so the exact fee will appear on your checkout page before you pay.

If you lost your old NBI clearance, you must register as a new applicant on the NBI website. You cannot use the old clearance number for quick NBI Clearance renewal. Instead, create a new account, fill in your personal details, pay the required fee, and visit your chosen NBI branch for verification and biometrics.
